Why Trees Matter

Since 2014, One Tree Planted has made a big impact, planting over 135.5 million trees in more than 82 countries with the help of 378 partners. Their work spans across six global regions, supporting projects that:

• Protect endangered species by replenishing habitats
• Improve air and water quality in urban and rural areas
• Strengthen communities by providing sustainable livelihoods

Trees play a vital role in our environment — they absorb CO₂, release oxygen and help regulate our climate, making reforestation one of the most impactful ways to create a healthier planet for future generations.
